Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Drive to Amboseli National Park
Meet and greet at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Drive to Amboseli, arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at your Amboseli safari lodge.
Day 2: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
Early morning game drive before breakfast. Depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving by midday. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, spotting hippos and birdlife. Dinner and overnight at a Naivasha lodge.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, drive through the Great Rift Valley to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Afternoon game drive en route to your lodge. Dinner and overnight in the Mara.
Day 4: Full Day in Masai Mara
Spend the day exploring Masai Mara’s plains, home to the Big Five and abundant wildlife. Optional activities include a hot-air balloon safari or a visit to a local Maasai village. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 5: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru, famous for rhinos, lions, and pink flamingos. Afternoon game drive around the lake shores. Dinner and overnight at your Nakuru lodge.
Day 6: Nakuru – Nairobi – Fly to Kigali, Rwanda
Morning drive to Nairobi. Connect to your flight to Kigali International Airport, Rwanda. On arrival, transfer to your Kigali hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Kigali City Tour – Drive to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a guided Kigali city tour, visiting the 1994 Genocide Memorial and local markets. After lunch, drive to Volcanoes National Park, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Early breakfast followed by a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience through the forested slopes of the Virunga Mountains. Afternoon at leisure to relax after the trek. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 9: Volcanoes National Park – Kigali – Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Kigali for your international flight home. End of safari.
