Depart Nairobi for Samburu National Reserve, driving through Kenya’s central highlands. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in search of the rare northern species such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Beisa oryx. Dinner and overnight at your Samburu lodge or camp.

Spend a full day exploring Samburu’s dramatic landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with chances to see elephants, lions, and leopards. Relax at your lodge during the midday heat. Dinner and overnight at Samburu.

After breakfast, drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy — home to the last remaining northern white rhinos. Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Camp or similar.

Depart for Lake Nakuru, known for its flocks of flamingos, black and white rhinos, and leopards. Afternoon game drive followed by dinner and overnight at your Nakuru lodge or camp.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha. Afternoon boat ride to see hippos and water birds, followed by a nature walk at Crescent Island or Sanctuary Farm. Dinner and overnight at Naivasha.

Leave Naivasha for Amboseli, enjoying lunch en route. Afternoon game drive at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, with excellent chances to spot elephants and other plains game. Overnight at Amboseli lodge or camp.

After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West. Afternoon game drive through the park’s volcanic terrain, visiting Mzima Springs — home to hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at your Tsavo lodge.

Explore Tsavo West in depth. Visit the Shetani Lava Flows, enjoy scenic viewpoints, and search for big cats and elephants. Relax and enjoy the tranquil beauty of Kenya’s largest national park. Overnight in Tsavo.

After breakfast, drive to Voi Station for your SGR train journey to Mombasa. Transfer by road to Diani Beach. Arrive at your beach hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Enjoy a free day on the white sands of Diani Beach. Optional activities include snorkelling, diving, dolphin watching, or a Wasini Island tour.
